About 3D Guitars
Founded by Troy Dana, 3D Guitars evolved to satisfy that part of the market who sought “investment” quality instruments that were fully functional out of the case. The quilted maple top, “The Holy Grail” of figured maple tops, is rare and collectable. The art and value of this rare wood is fully recognized in all 3D Guitars.
3D Guitars is the only builder in the region to select the tree, harvest, mill and dry the maple tops. With an eye for the best of the best, less than 3% of all maple tops produced are suitable for a 3D Guitar.
